Working in partnership with awarding body ASDAN and the LSC, PET has created a new tool to assess employability levels in an individual. The new CD assesses the user's attitude towards employability areas such as Punctuality, Communication and Problem Solving.
Using a highly engaging combination of animation, audio and text, the user answers a series of scenarios using a Flash-based drag-and-drop interface. The user’s answers are recorded, along with such data as the time taken to answer, and how many attempts. This is all compiled in an easy to use reports section, with graphical and textual analysis. The Readi-Kit is an ideal initial assessment tool when looking to develop a person’s employability.
It has been through initial trials with a variety of training providers, with excellent feedback. A number of dissemination events have been delivered to share the success of the tool. A further development of the software has been produced, which is due to be released very soon.
