Future Leaders
The PET Future Leaders Challenge gives Gifted and Talented young people the chance to flex their enterprise muscles and to demonstrate that they are future ready and ahead of their peers.
- Business challenges endorsed by City Leaders from across all three sectors - the young people will work with limited time and resources to complete challenges.
- Understanding team dynamics, synergy and psychometrics - "What makes me tick, what does the world need?"
For Gifted and Talented learners in year 9 and 10 we can offer them the opportunity to complete the programme and achieve the equivalent of two GCSEs at Grade B. It is one thing to say that you have skills and talents to compliment your GCSEs and A-levels but the PET Future Leaders Challenge gives you the chance to prove it with accreditation.
For Gifted and Talented learners in year 11 and 12 we can offer them the opportunity to take this to the next level. By designing, risk assessing and delivering a programme they will learn to coach, mentor, facilitate and lead a learning activity for their younger peers. There are 40 UCAS points available, along with the two Level 3 qualifications that this programme offers.
