Wider Key Skills
We have an enviable track record in the provision of Wider Key Skills. We are able to structure new and dynamic programmes for the delivery of Problem Solving, Improving Own Learning and Working with Others, all built around enterprise and the changing world of work. We use a multimedia approach that enables learners to produce high quality work contextualised in the areas which interest them - sport, fashion, art, video and music.
We produce everything from a one day workshop to create evidence opportunities, to entire programmes covering all three Wider Key Skills, which support the young person's personal development and encourages them to enjoy learning.
The P.E.T. Wider Key Skills solutions are an excellent way to support traditional learning routes by re-engaging young people in learning, whilst giving them real GCSE equivalent qualifications. At Level 2, the three Wider Key Skills are worth 103.5 points, which is equivalent to 2¼ GCSEs at Grade B.
